Fashion Forum India Private Limited is situated at No. 1857 along the Bangalore Mysore Road. We are in Hanumanth Nagar, which is part of the Channapatna area in Ramnagaram district. Most people think of wooden toys when they hear the name Channapatna, but we are here doing garment work. The location is right on the main highway, so there is always noise from vehicles passing by at all hours. It’s a decent-sized place. We spend our time working on different clothing orders. It is a lot of cutting, stitching, and checking the fabric for any mistakes. The staff lives mostly around Hanumanth Nagar or they take the bus from nearby towns. It’s not a corporate headquarters with a receptionist or coffee machines. It’s a workshop where people work with their hands. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to wait or use the generator. It’s just part of being in this district. We keep the doors open for some air because it gets warm with all the pressing machines running. We have a small area for storing the finished pieces before they go out on trucks. It’s a simple operation at Fashion Forum. We don’t really do anything besides the production work. It’s just a group of people making clothes in a building that’s seen a lot of seasons. We stay busy enough to keep everyone moving throughout the day. It's a lot of the same thing every week, but the people here are good and we get the work out on time.
