Deepak Mineral

Deepak Mineral is over at number 69 in Kannakaram, right along Manjarahalli Road. It’s an area where you see a lot of trucks and local businesses like ours. We’ve been working from this spot for quite a long time now. The building is just a plain structure, but it’s got enough room for all the equipment we need to process the minerals. It gets pretty dusty out here on Manjarahalli Road, especially during the dry season, so we’re always cleaning something. The work can be a bit heavy and repetitive, but we have a good rhythm going. We aren't a massive corporation with hundreds of employees; it’s just a small crew of us who know the job well. We handle the orders as they come in and try to stay on top of the schedule. Sometimes the machinery gives us a bit of trouble and we have to spend the afternoon fixing it instead of working, but that’s life in this industry. People in the Kannakaram area know us as the place that just gets on with things. We don't spend money on fancy signs or radio ads. Most of our work comes from people who have been dealing with us for years. It’s a steady pace, and we like it that way. We just want to do the work properly and go home to our families at the end of the shift. It's a plain and simple business, and we've been here long enough to know how to handle the rough days.
