Coorg Coffee

Our shop is right on MG Road in Somwarpet, at number 6-322. It is a small place but it serves the purpose for anyone looking for a drink. We deal with coffee because that is what grows around here and what everyone knows. The store has been here for years, and not much has changed inside. We have some shelves for the beans and a counter where we talk to people. It’s not a big corporate setup. It is just a local business where we spend most of our day. We wake up early to get everything sorted before the first customers show up. Some days are very quiet, and we just sit and watch the traffic go by on the main road. Other days, it feels like everyone in town stops by at once. We handle the coffee ourselves and make sure the bags are filled right. It is dusty work sometimes. The smell of the beans is always in the air, even on our clothes when we go home. We don’t spend money on big signs or ads. People know where we are if they need us. Usually, it’s just locals coming in, but sometimes travelers passing through Somwarpet stop in because they see the sign. We just tell them what we have and let them decide. It’s a simple life running a shop like this, but we like being part of the neighborhood and staying here.
