Cm Store

Cm Store is located at 4/12, right near the Km Stone on Chamarajnagar Road in Nanjangud. It’s a bit of a way out, but being on the main road means we get a lot of people passing by on their travels. We keep the shop stocked with the kinds of things that travelers and local residents both need. There’s always bags of grain, packets of biscuits, and various household supplies on hand. The road can be quite busy with trucks and buses going toward Chamarajnagar, so it gets a bit loud during the day. We’ve been here for a while, and the building has stood through all sorts of weather. It’s a simple setup with concrete floors and high shelves. We don’t go in for fancy displays or marketing stuff. We just put the items out where people can see them. Sometimes we sit outside on a stool when it’s quiet, watching the traffic go by. Nanjangud is a nice area, and we’ve gotten to know the people who live in the nearby houses quite well. They come in for their daily milk or to pick up something they forgot for dinner. It’s a regular life, running a store like this. We handle the inventory ourselves and make sure nothing stays on the shelf too long. It’s not a complicated business, just a matter of being here when people need something. We open early and close when the road finally gets quiet at night. It is just a plain shop by the roadside doing its job day after day.
