Pragati Products

We have been over at Plot No. 212 for quite a while now. Navapura Mandvi is one of those places where everyone kind of knows what the next person is doing. The deli nearby, Nr-sagonwadi Bordivali, is usually where we end up for a quick break when the morning gets too long. Pragati Products isn't a big corporate setup. It is just a few of us here making things and making sure the orders go out when they should. The building itself has seen better days, maybe a fresh coat of paint would help, but the machines inside work just fine. Some days it gets pretty hot, especially in the afternoons, so we keep the fans running full blast. You get used to the sounds of the street and the neighbor’s trucks coming and going. We don’t have fancy office chairs or a receptionist at the front. If you come by, you’ll probably just see one of us covered in dust or looking at a list of parts. It’s a simple way to run a business. We started out small and stayed that way because it works for us. Navapura Mandvi has changed over the years, more traffic and more noise, but our spot at Plot 212 stays the same. We just keep our heads down and do what needs doing. It’s not a complicated story, just a local place doing its part in the area.
