M. M. C. B.

M. M. C. B. is located near Khimji Ramdas Kanya Vidhayalaya here in Kutch. Being near a school means there’s always noise and kids running around in the afternoons. It keeps the area feeling alive, I guess. We've been at this spot for a good while. The building isn't new, it has that weathered look from the Kutch sun. Inside, it’s mostly just us keeping track of things. We don't have a big reception area or anything. Just some chairs and a lot of files. People come by mostly because they know where we are. It’s a bit of a landmark being so close to the vidhayalaya. Some days the wind blows the sand in, and we have to sweep out the doorway twice. It’s just part of life here. We don't do much in terms of decorating. A few calendars on the walls and maybe a plant that we forget to water sometimes. M. M. C. B. is just a local fixture. We know the shopkeepers nearby and say hello in the mornings. It’s a quiet routine. We open the shutters, check the mail, and get to it. No one here is wearing a suit or trying to act like they're in a big city office. We’re just regular folks doing our jobs in a place that feels like home. It’s honest work and a simple life in this part of Kutch. We wouldn't want to be anywhere else, honestly.
