Unique Impex

We are tucked away in Office No. 2 inside the Lokhanwala Complex. If you know where Bhid Bazar is, you know it can get pretty crowded. There is always something happening outside in the market. At Unique Impex, we focus on the day-to-day tasks of moving goods. Our office is small and simple. We have a few chairs for visitors, but mostly it is just us working on our laptops. The walls are a bit plain, maybe we should put up a calendar or something. We spend a lot of time on the phone with transporters. It gets noisy with the bazaar sounds coming through the windows, but you get used to it after a while. Most of the work is about making sure the numbers on the screen match the stuff in the crates. It isn't glamorous work, just steady. We have a small kettle for making coffee when we’re feeling tired. Sometimes the courier comes late and we have to wait around. The Lokhanwala Complex has been our base for a bit. It’s a practical location for being near the trade action in the market. We don't really have a big team, just a few of us making sure the export and import side of things doesn't get messy. We just take it one day at a time and try to keep the shipments moving through the system. Sometimes the air conditioner acts up, but we get by.
