SAKHISHREE NIDHI LIMITED is over at 208, right by the Rampura Gate. We are in Bhanpura which is in the Mandsaur district. Being near the gate means there is always something to look at out the window. It’s a bit of an old area and the buildings have a lot of character, even if they need a bit of paint now and then. Our office is simple and functional. We have the usual things like a computer and some shelves for our folders. Bhanpura can get quite dusty in the dry season so we spend a lot of time wiping down the desks. It feels like a constant battle with the wind. The people here are mostly locals who have lived in Mandsaur their whole lives. We fit right in because we aren't trying to act like we are better than anyone else. We just sit here and do the math and handle the accounts. If the power goes out, which happens sometimes, we just open the windows and wait for it to come back on. We don't have a big backup generator or anything. We just take a break and talk for a bit. It’s a slow pace of life but we like it that way. You won't find any fancy rugs or expensive art on our walls. Just a calendar and maybe a clock that’s a few minutes fast to make sure we don't leave too late.
