Our place is over at 187, Abhinandan Nagar (Main). It’s a busy area and we’ve been part of it for a good bit now. Pukhraj Herbals is what we go by. We spend our time working with different kinds of herbs and natural stuff. The smell inside the building is always strong—peppermint one day, maybe something more earthy the next. We get a lot of local foot traffic since we're right on the main road. It gets a bit crowded in the afternoons when the deliveries arrive. We don’t have a big corporate office or anything like that. It’s mostly just shelves, some packing tables, and a few chairs for when we take a break. We handle the bottling and the sorting right here. Sometimes the labels aren't perfectly straight, but the stuff inside is what matters to us. It’s a family-style environment. My brother usually handles the back end while I stay up front. We see a lot of regular faces from the neighborhood. It’s a simple way to make a living. We aren’t trying to change the world, just providing what people ask for. The floor is usually covered in some kind of leaf bits by the end of the shift. We sweep up, lock the doors, and do it all again the next morning. It’s honest work that keeps us connected to the local community here in the city.
