About Jain Plastics – Fashion & Trends in Mandsaur
You can find our shop right by the Bus Stand. It is a very loud and crowded place to work, but it means there are always people around. We sell all kinds of plastic items, from buckets and tubs to smaller things like containers and stools. Because we are so close to the buses, it gets very dusty, so we have to wipe down the merchandise pretty much every single morning. We have things stacked up high to save space because the shop isn't that big. Sometimes a stack of basins will tip over and make a huge racket, which always makes the people waiting for their bus turn around and look. We don't have any fancy displays or lights. We just put the items out where people can see the colors and sizes. The tea stall nearby brings us snacks in the afternoon, which is usually the highlight of the day. Dealing with travelers means we meet people from all over, even if it's just for a few minutes while they pick up something they forgot for their trip. The heat can be tough under the tin roof during May, but we keep a couple of big fans going to move the air around. It’s a simple business and we’ve been at this spot for years now. We know the bus schedules by heart just from hearing the engines start up all day long. It's noisy, but we like the energy of the station.
