Vikas Clinic

Vikas Clinic is right on Badwani Road here in Rajpur. It is one of those roads that stays busy from early morning until the sun goes down. We have a small storefront that opens directly onto the sidewalk. You can hear the bikes and tractors going past all day, which can be a bit loud when you are trying to talk to someone. The space inside is quite narrow, so we have to be careful with how we arrange the furniture. We have a few benches for patients and a small area behind a curtain for examinations. It is a humble setup, but it has worked for us for years. Most of our patients are locals from the town or farmers who come in from the nearby villages along the road. We know many of them by name by now. The floor is easy to clean, which is good because people often bring in a bit of mud from the fields when it rains. We do not have a big staff, just a couple of us who take care of everything from cleaning to checking the medicine stocks. Sometimes we run out of chairs if a whole family comes in together. We just tell them to wait outside for a bit where there is more air and room to stand. It is just a regular part of life in Rajpur. We keep things simple and just focus on the work at hand each day.
