We’re just regular people who know how to put together a building. Being near the forest means it’s a bit quieter than the main town, which we like. Most of our work is right here in the local community. We know the people and we know how the weather affects the construction around here. Sometimes the rains in Madhya Pradesh can really set us back, but we just wait it out and get back to work. Our office is a simple room where we keep our ledgers and talk to people about their plans. We don’t use any big words or marketing tricks. We just tell you what it’s going to cost and how long it’ll take. Usually, we’re out on the site anyway, getting our boots dirty. Construction is a tough business, but it's what we've always done. My family has been in Mandla for generations, so our reputation matters more than any advertisement.
