Ommedical

Ommedical is located right on Padavroad in Mandla. If you know the local area, you know it gets pretty crowded around here, especially in the late afternoons. We spend most of our time standing behind the wooden counter, looking for whatever medicine someone needs from the shelves. It is a lot of paper boxes and small labels. Sometimes the handwriting on the notes people bring in is really hard to read, but we usually figure it out eventually. The shop itself isn't very large, so things are stacked pretty high on the metal shelves. It is just how we have always done it here in Mandlaho. We open up quite early and stay until the street finally gets quiet at night. It is mostly just routine stuff, like checking expiration dates and making sure we have what people usually ask for. We know a lot of the faces that come through the door because they live just a few streets away. It gets a bit hot in the summer since the breeze doesn't really reach inside the shop very well. We do not have a website or anything like that, just the physical shop on Padavroad. Sometimes we run out of something and have to wait for the next delivery truck to show up from the city. It is a simple business, really. We aren't trying to change the world, just trying to make sure the folks in Mandla get their tablets. It is a lot of standing, but that is just part of the day.
