Firdusiya Clinic

Firdusiya Clinic is over in Lal Bazar in Balaghat. We are situated right near the government hospital, which makes it easy for people to find us. Lal Bazar is a lively market area, so there is always noise and movement outside our door. We mostly handle general health cases, the kind of things that do not necessarily need a big hospital stay but still need attention. The clinic is basically one large room partitioned off. It is a bit old-fashioned, maybe, but it works for what we do. I have a wooden desk and a couple of chairs for patients. We see a lot of people from the local market and the nearby villages who come into town for the day. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to use a small generator or just wait it out with a torch. That is just life in Balaghat. We do not have any fancy uniforms, just comfortable clothes for a long day of work. My assistant has been with me since we opened, and she knows everyone's business. It is a very communal atmosphere. People often bring us fruit or snacks from the market as a thank you. We are not trying to be the biggest clinic in the world, just a reliable one for the folks here in Lal Bazar. It is a simple life and a simple practice for our small town.
