Baghira Log Huts, Kisli

The Baghira Log Huts are located in Kisli, which is part of the P.O. Khatia area in Mochha. We are run under the M.P. State Tourism Development Corporation. The huts are made of wood and sit right in the middle of a lot of trees. It is a very quiet spot compared to the cities. We do not have many of the modern luxuries you find in big hotels, but we have the basics like beds and a roof. People come here when they want to visit the nearby park. We spend our days making sure the huts are clean and the grounds are looked after. There are monkeys and birds around the property most of the time. The air is quite different out here. We have a small office where we check people in. The paths around the huts can get a bit muddy when it rains, so you have to watch your step. It is a long way from the main towns, which is why people like it. We do not have a fancy dining hall, just a simple setup for meals. The staff lives nearby and we have been working here for quite some time. It is a steady job in a beautiful place. If you follow the road towards Khatia, you will see the signs for the tourism corporation. It is a plain and simple place to stay for a night or two while exploring.
