We are based out at D-17 in the MPAKVN Industrial Area, which is quite near Bhopal. Being in an industrial zone like this means we have a fair amount of space for Va Tech Hydro India Pvt. Ltd. to operate. The area is filled with other companies and large buildings. Our day usually starts early because of the commute to this part of town. The office is mostly functional, with a lot of room for the technical work we do. We have several departments all working in the same building. It’s not the kind of place where you’d find a lot of visitors, so we just focus on the projects we have. There’s a lot of equipment around and we spend a good chunk of our time checking data and making sure everything is running right. The staff here is mostly local people who know the industrial landscape well. We don’t bother with fancy decorations or anything that isn't necessary for the job. It’s a busy environment with trucks moving in and out of the area constantly. We just try to keep our part of the operation steady. Sometimes things get a bit hectic with deadlines, but that’s just how it is here. We are just a group of people doing our jobs in a large industrial estate. It's a big place and we keep busy enough to stay out of trouble.
