Madhya Bharat Concrete Udyog

Our business is spread across Plot No. 3 - 4 and 27 in Sector B of the Industrial Area. It’s a fair amount of space, but we need it for all the concrete work we do. Madhya Bharat Concrete Udyog isn't a small shop. We have machines and molds all over the place. Being in the industrial area means there’s constant noise from the other factories, but we’re used to it. We make concrete items that take a lot of space to dry and set. The yard is usually full of finished pieces waiting to be moved out. We started small, but having these plots together helps us keep everything in one spot. It’s mostly outdoor work, so we’re at the mercy of the sun. Some days the concrete sets fast, other days we have to wait. We don’t have a lot of office staff; it’s mostly just the guys working the mixers and moving the heavy stuff. It's a grit-and-grime kind of job. Sector B is a good place for us because the roads are wide enough for the big trucks we use. We don’t do much advertising. People just see the sign and the concrete stacks and come in. It’s a solid way to make a living, even if it is a bit messy. We try to keep the plots organized so we can find the right molds when a new job comes in. It's just a lot of mixing and pouring every week.
