Our office is actually based at House No. 46 in Siyoli, which is near the Ratti area in Mandi. Because we are in a residential house, it does not look like a regular business from the street. VYAS BACHAT NIDHI LIMITED is run from here to help the people in Balh and the nearby villages with their small savings. We like the fact that it is a home-based office because it makes everything feel more relaxed and less formal. People come in and sit on the chairs we have in the front room to talk about their accounts. We do almost all of our work by hand in big registers. It takes some time, but it keeps things very clear for us and our members. We know everyone who comes through the door because we are all part of the same community. You might hear the usual sounds of the neighborhood or see family members around while we are working. We think this keeps the business honest and grounded. The road to Siyoli is decent, and most people around Ratti know where we are located. We do not have any big plans for expansion or fancy marketing. We just want to provide a place where the local folks can keep their savings safely and talk to someone they know. It is a small operation, just a couple of us doing the daily tasks.
