We are tucked away in a small corner of Mandi district in Himachal Pradesh. Our specific spot is Beas Dev Thakur, over in P. O. Dhalwan. It’s a bit of a trek to get up here if you aren't used to the mountain roads, but the air is definitely cleaner than the city. We work under the name Videocon Ind Ltd Tekcare India P Ltd. It’s a quiet operation for the most part. We don’t have a lot of walk-in traffic because of where we are located, so we spend most of our time dealing with things over the phone or through the mail. The post office is a big part of our daily life here. Since it’s a rural area, things move a little slower than they might in a place like Delhi. We don’t mind that though. It gives us time to make sure everything is handled correctly without rushing through it. Sometimes the weather gets rough and the power goes out, but we just wait it out and get back to it when things clear up. It is a very basic setup, just desks and some filing cabinets in a simple room. We don't need much more than that to stay on top of our responsibilities. It is a humble way to run things, but it works for us.
