Up here in Ram Nagar, near Joginder Nagar, things move at their own pace. We are situated quite close to the Ram Mandir, so you can always hear the bells in the morning when we are opening up the shutters. Being in Himachal Mandi means we see a lot of people coming through for various things. It’s a small shop, but we have a lot of computer bits and pieces crammed into every corner. Most days at V K Infotech involve us sitting at the back fixing a laptop or explaining how a printer works to someone from the village who isn't used to it. The winters get really cold here, so we usually have a small heater going under the table to keep our feet warm. It’s a decent life, talking to neighbors and helping them out with their tech issues. Sometimes the internet is a bit slow because of the weather, but we manage. We’ve been at this address for a few years now and most locals know the way. If you walk past the temple and keep going, you’ll find us easily. It’s not a big corporate setup, just a local spot for tech help. We don't have any fancy signs or anything. Just the name on the door and a bunch of cables everywhere. It gets a bit dusty with the road right there, but we try to keep the screens clean. Sometimes customers stay for a long chat even after their stuff is fixed.
