Sharma Clinic

Our clinic is located in Sukhbag, right by the post office in Chauntra. It is a quiet area most of the time, which is nice for a place like this. Sharma Clinic started out quite small, just a couple of rooms to help the neighbors when they got sick. We’ve stayed pretty much the same over the years. We don't have big machines or anything like that, just the basics for everyday health needs. If you live around Chauntra, you probably pass by us often. We see a lot of the same faces, which is the way we like it. It feels more like a community here. Sometimes the weather makes it hard for people to travel, but we try to stay open as much as possible. It is just me and a few helpers most days. We handle coughs, aches, and the usual things that pop up. The building itself is old but we try to keep it tidy. There is no fancy waiting room, just some chairs and a fan for the heat. We don't do big advertisements or anything. Most people find out about us from their family or friends. Dealing with sickness is stressful enough, so we just talk plainly and do what needs to be done. It’s a decent place to work and a necessary part of the neighborhood here in Sukhbag. We just take things as they come and help who we can.
