Punk

We are up here in Sarkaghat, Mandi. It’s a quiet place most days but we stay busy enough at Punk. The shop isn't huge, just a regular spot on the street where we keep our things. We've been in this part of Himachal for a while now. Some days it rains a lot and things slow down, but usually, people from the district stop by when they are passing through. We didn't really have a big plan when we started, we just needed a place to work and this building was available. The walls could use a bit of paint maybe, but it works for us. Most of the time it’s just one or two of us here handling everything from opening up in the morning to locking the shutters at night. We get stock in every now and then, and it takes us a few hours to get it all sorted on the shelves. It’s not fancy or anything. We know most of the people who walk by by name. It’s just how it is in a small tehsil like this. Sometimes the electricity goes out for a bit, so we just sit outside and wait for it to come back on. There isn't much more to tell about us. We just run the shop and try to keep things organized. If you ever find yourself in Mandi district, you might see the sign. It’s a simple setup we’ve got going here, and we like it.
