Our place is right near the Civil Hospital in Sarkaghat. It’s a very busy area, especially in the mornings when everyone is arriving for their appointments. Perianth Drugs has been operating out of this building for some time now. It’s a basic setup with a few rooms for storage and a small area where we do the paperwork. We don't have any fancy decorations on the walls, just some calendars and the usual office stuff. The noise from the hospital and the street is constant, so you get used to speaking a bit louder. We spend a lot of time on the phone or writing out lists by hand. It’s a bit of an old-fashioned way of doing things, but it works for us. The stairs in the building are a bit narrow, so moving heavy boxes can be a bit of a chore. We mostly just keep to ourselves and get the work done. In the afternoons, things slow down a bit and we can catch up on the cleaning. Sarkaghat is a small enough town that we see the same faces every week. We aren't trying to be anything big or corporate, just a local company doing its part. It’s a practical life, and we don't mind the hard work it takes to keep everything running smoothly near the hospital. There is always a stack of old newspapers in the corner for when someone has a break.
