Down in Baldwara, things stay busy at Murari Stone Works. Our place is tucked away at Andhrara, near the Chowk area. It’s a dusty job, and most of us go home with grit in our hair every single day, but that’s just part of the routine in Mandi. We’ve got the machinery set up right there in the yard, and you can hear the rumble of the stones being worked on from a good distance away. It’s not the kind of job where you sit in a nice air-conditioned room. We’re out there in the heat or the cold, checking on the piles of material and making sure the lorries can get in and out without getting stuck. The road can be a bit tricky around the PO area, especially when the monsoon hits. We’ve known the people around here for years, and most of the staff have been with us since the start. It’s a simple operation, really. We just focus on the stone and making sure we have enough stock for the local builders who come by. We don't spend much time on fancy letters or big meetings. Usually, we're just leaning over a ledger or talking to a driver by the gate. Life in Mandi moves at its own pace, and we just try to keep up with the demand for stone works as best as we can. There is always a lot of work to do.
