You can find us in Ward Number 7 of Badoh village, which is part of the Amb Tehsil in Una district. It is a very straightforward, practical part of Himachal. We have been working out of a small space here for quite some time. Our focus is on humanitarian work, which really just means we try to help anyone who comes to us with a problem. It might be an elderly person who needs help with some paperwork or a family that is struggling to buy basic supplies. We don't ask a lot of questions, we just try to find a way to help out. The weather in Una gets very hot in the summer, so we sometimes have to adjust our schedule. We are all just local residents who felt like we should be doing more for our neighbors. There are no big bosses or fancy titles here. We all just pitch in whenever there is work to be done. Sometimes we travel to the nearby villages around Amb to see if anyone there needs a hand. We keep a small stock of things like old clothes and books to give away. Our office isn't much to look at, just a couple of chairs and a wooden table. We spend a lot of time just listening to people and their stories. Sometimes having someone to talk to is the most important thing. It’s not a fancy life, but it’s what we do. We hope to keep doing this as long as we can.
