Kamlahiya Buildwell Infrastructure is located in a small village called Jarer, which is in the Sarkaghat area of Mandi. It’s a quiet, rural place and most of the people who live here have known each other for years. Our reputation is basically built on what the neighbors have seen us do with our own hands. We do a bit of everything when it comes to construction—houses, cowsheds, boundary walls, and some of the smaller local road projects. The office is just a simple room where we keep our tools and our logbooks. We spend a lot of time traveling between the different villages in the tehsil to check on our workers. The roads are often narrow and they can get completely washed out when the monsoon rains are heavy. We have a solid crew of local men who are used to doing the heavy lifting and don't complain much about the weather. We don't have any big slogans or marketing talk to give people. If someone needs something built, they usually just come find us at the office or send a word through someone they know. We work with the materials we can get locally and try to make things that will stand up to the weather. It’s a slow and steady way to live, away from the noise of the bigger towns. We just keep our heads down and focus on the current project.
