You can find us near the old warehouse in Kath Mandi. Gmg Tradelink Private Limited is the name on the door, though most people just know us from around the neighborhood. Our spot is at K. No. 398/530. It’s a busy area, especially in the early mornings when all the trucks start arriving and everyone is shouting to get things moved. Being near the warehouse makes sense for what we do because things are always moving in and out. It gets pretty dusty out here sometimes with all the traffic and the wind, but that’s just how it is in the Mandi. We do a lot of trading, mostly connecting people who have stuff with people who need it. It’s not a glamorous job. Most of the time we are just on the phone or checking through our lists. We aren't trying to be the biggest company out there. We just want to do our work and go home to our families. Some of us have been working in this area for years, so we know the neighbors well. If you stop by, you’ll probably see a few of us drinking tea and going over the day's orders. We don't have a big marketing department or anything like that. It's just a small office with some filing cabinets and a couple of old chairs that have seen better days. Dealing with the tradelink business means staying on top of prices and knowing who to call. The Kath Mandi location is convenient for the logistics side of things. It can be loud with the sirens and the engines, but you get used to it after a while. We keep things simple here.
