Dlf-Laingororurke

Up here in Himachal Pradesh, things move a bit differently than in the big cities. We go by Dlf-Laingororurke and we’re located over at C/O Dillo Ram & Company. Our post office is Gutkar, in the Mandi district, with the pin 175021. It’s a beautiful part of the country, though we spend most of our time looking at blueprints and spreadsheets rather than the mountains. The office is pretty basic. We share space with Dillo Ram’s folks, so there’s always someone coming in or going out. It can get a bit chilly in the winter months, so we usually have a small heater running near our feet. We don’t have any fancy corporate branding or polished hallways. It’s just a place where we do our work. Most of the staff are locals from around Mandi, so we all know the shortcuts and the best places to get a meal. The paperwork can be a real headache sometimes, especially when the mail takes a few extra days to arrive because of the location. We just take it in stride. There’s a lot of coordination involved in what we do, and it’s mostly done over phone calls or quick meetings in the common area. It’s a straightforward way of living and working. We aren't trying to impress anyone, we just want to get the day's tasks finished so we can go home and relax after a long day of dealing with logistics and numbers.
