Our place, Insaf Foundry And Agro Industries, sits right on G. T Road in the Model Town area. It is a spot most people pass by on their way to other things. We have got the foundry going most days, so there is always a bit of heat and the sound of metal being worked. It is a tough kind of job, but we have been at it long enough that it feels natural to us now. We also handle some agro equipment stuff on the side when people ask for it. The shop floor is usually covered in sand and bits of iron, which is exactly how a working foundry should look. We do not have a marketing team or anything like that. It is just us and the machines. Sometimes the dust gets everywhere, and we just sweep it up at the end of the shift and keep going the next day. Customers usually find us by word of mouth or they just see the sign while driving on the main road. We keep things simple here. There is no big corporate hierarchy to deal with. If there is a problem, we just talk it out and fix it ourselves. It has been a part of the Model Town landscape for quite a bit. We enjoy the work, even when it is hot and exhausting in the summer months. It is a solid, local business that doesn't try to overcomplicate things. We just make what people need and try to do it right.
