We have a large wooden table that has been with us since we started, and a few plastic chairs for the people who come to visit. We spend a lot of time writing in our books and making sure all the accounts are settled correctly. Most of our members are local laborers, small farmers, or shopkeepers from the Islampura area. They trust us because they see us every day on the street. We do not use any fancy software; we prefer the old way of doing things with pens and paper. Sometimes the fan stops working and we just sit outside on the steps for a while to catch a breeze. It is a very basic way of working, but it works for the people here.
