Pavan Motor Driving School

Running a driving school in Adilabad means spending a lot of hours in the passenger seat watching people get nervous about using the clutch for the first time. We are located right near the Head Office area, which is a fairly central part of town. The cars we use have seen plenty of use over the years, but they’re kept in good enough shape to teach people the basics of the road. We spend our mornings out on the streets, trying to find some of the quieter spots where a new student won't accidentally stall the car in the middle of a big crowd. It’s always interesting to see how some people pick up driving in just a few days while others need a lot more time to remember which pedal is which. The heat here in Adilabad is no joke during the summer, so those afternoon driving lessons can get pretty uncomfortable for everyone involved. We don't have a big classroom with posters; we mostly just sit in the car and explain how the gears and the mirrors work while we’re actually out there. There is always a lot of paperwork to deal with for the RTO, which is probably the least favorite part of the job. We see all kinds of people, from teenagers getting their first license to older residents who finally decided they wanted to learn. It’s a job that requires a lot of patience, but it keeps us busy.
