Mangalya Turmeric

You can find Mangalya Turmeric at Door No-A-377/1 in the Jeera area. We’re located right on R P Road in the District of Mancherial. Being so close to the Bus Adda means there’s always a lot of people traveling through and making noise. Our place is fairly easy to spot once you get to this part of town. The air around our shop often smells strongly of spices. We’ve been dealing with turmeric for a very long time now. It’s more of a family tradition than just a job. My father was the one who started it all, and now I’m the one running things with a little bit of help from my brothers. The shop itself isn't fancy at all. We have heavy bags stacked up and a big old scale for weighing everything out. We don’t have any air conditioning, just some old ceiling fans that tend to squeak a bit when they're on high. It’s a very practical workspace for what we do. We spend most of our days checking the quality of the batches and talking to the farmers who bring their goods to us. We don’t have a big marketing plan or anything like that. We just focus on getting decent turmeric and selling it to people at a price that seems fair. Sometimes the road outside gets completely blocked with buses, which can be annoying, but it also brings in new customers.
