Jeeva Hospital

Jeeva Hospital is right there at Netaji Chowk in Adilabad. If you live around here, you know the chowk is the center of everything. It’s always noisy with bikes and people shouting. The hospital building is an older structure, but it’s sturdy. We’ve got several rooms and the hallways are usually full of people sitting on the benches. I spend most of my time at the front area, handling the paperwork and answering the phone. It’s a lot of work keeping things clean because of all the dust that blows in from the main road. The trees outside give a little shade during the hot afternoons, which is nice. We have a small staff and we all know each other pretty well. Sometimes we eat lunch together in the back when it’s not too busy. The medicine smell is everywhere, you just get used to it after a few days. We don’t have those fancy automated doors or anything, just regular ones that swing open. Adilabad gets really hot in the summer, so we keep the fans going full blast all day long. It’s a practical place, built to help the people in the town and the villages nearby who travel in. We see all kinds of people every day, and most of them just want to get their business done and get back home before dark. It’s been like this for as long as I can remember working at this spot.
