Hasitha Children Hospital

The hospital is right at the Velempally Char Rasta. It’s a spot that most people around here know because of the big crossroads. Being at the Char Rasta means there is always a lot of activity throughout the day. We focus on kids here, so you will usually hear some crying or see toys scattered around the place. It's a busy environment. Most of our days are spent dealing with the usual childhood fevers, coughs, and all the stuff parents worry about. The building has been here for a bit and we just try to keep things organized. It’s not always easy when you have a lot of families coming through at once. We don't use any fancy talk or have big posters everywhere. This is just a place where kids can get looked at by a doctor. Sometimes the wait is a bit long when it's flu season, but that's just how it goes in a local hospital. We know the people in Vellampalli and they know us. You don't need a map to find us if you're familiar with the main road intersections. We just keep our heads down and do the work. It’s a practical place, nothing more and nothing less. Parents bring their little ones in, we see what's wrong, and then we go from there. Every day is a bit different depending on who walks through the door.
