Bachpan Play School

Bachpan Play School is tucked away on Mancherial Road, right in the Natraj Nagar area. It’s a busy spot, especially around drop-off time when the cars and bikes are all trying to squeeze through the street. Our space is filled with a lot of plastic toys, colorful mats that have seen better days, and small chairs that are just the right size for toddlers. If you walk past, you’ll probably hear a lot of singing or maybe some crying, depending on the time of day. We spend most of our hours cleaning up spills, helping kids with their shoes, and trying to keep everyone in line during snack time. The floors get pretty messy with crumbs and bits of paper from the craft table, but we sweep it up once they all go home in the afternoon. There’s a small outdoor area where they play, though it’s not very big, just enough for a bit of running around. The sun hits the front of the building later on, making it quite warm inside if the fans aren't on high. We’ve got cubbies for the bags and a few posters on the walls that the kids have drawn on. It’s a loud place to work, but it’s what we do here in this part of town. Most of the parents live just a few streets away, so we see the same faces every single morning. It's just a regular local school doing its thing.
