Laxshi Agro Export Pvt Ltd.

We are based out of Bharadpur, at number 51. It’s a small place compared to some of the big export houses, but we like it that way. We deal with agro exports, mostly stuff grown around here. It’s a lot of paperwork and checking things over. The weather really dictates our day. If it’s harvest time, we’re busy from sunrise to way past dark. If it’s the off-season, we spend time cleaning the storage and talking to the farmers. My father started this, and now I handle the daily bits. We aren't corporate people. We wear boots and walk the fields as much as we sit at the desk. Bharadpur is a quiet area, which is nice for focusing on the crops. We don't have a big website or a sales team. Most of our connections are just people we've known for twenty years. We check the grain, we check the pulses, and we make sure the bags are tied right. Sometimes the shipping containers are late, and we have to sit and wait at the port, which is frustrating but part of the life. We just try to get the local produce to where it needs to go. It’s simple work, really. Just moving things from the earth to the market. We take pride in knowing where everything comes from. No fancy talk, just farming and trading. We'll be here for a long time.
