We are located at No 1 Ramalingam Street. It is a small street, and our shop is right there at the beginning. It’s a pretty basic setup. We have a small area for taking the pictures and another little corner where we sit and do the editing on an old desk. Most of the people who come to us are from the nearby houses. We know their names and their kids. It’s that kind of place. We don't spend money on fancy advertisements or marketing. We just rely on doing a decent job so people come back next time they need a photo. Sometimes we sit outside on a stool when it’s slow, just watching the traffic go by on the main road nearby. The street itself is usually quiet except for the occasional delivery truck or a stray dog. We’ve got a few light stands and some different colored backdrops we pull down depending on what’s needed. It is not a high-end fashion studio, just a local photography shop. We handle everything ourselves, from clicking the shutter to handing over the final prints. It’s a routine that we’ve grown to like over the years. Ramalingam Street is our home base, and we don't see ourselves moving anywhere else anytime soon. It is just us, our cameras, and the daily work we do for the neighborhood. It’s not much, but it’s our own little spot and we like it that way.
