24x7 Net Zone. You can find us at No. 80 Madurai Road. It's a busy street, so there's always noise from the buses and bikes going past. We have a few computers set up for people who need to get online or print something out. It’s a simple place, really. We opened up because we saw a lot of people needed a reliable spot to sit and get their work done. The lights are always on. Sometimes the internet is fast, sometimes it slows down when the weather gets bad, but we try to keep it running. I spend most of my day sitting behind the counter. People come in for all sorts of things, like checking their mail or finishing up school projects. We have some plastic chairs that aren't the most comfortable, but they do the job for an hour or two. The shop isn't very big, so it gets crowded during the evenings when everyone gets off work. We’ve got some old posters on the walls. It’s just me and a couple of others keeping the place tidy. Madurai Road is always moving, so we see a lot of different faces every day. It’s a basic setup at No. 80, but it works for what people need. We don't do anything special, just provide the space and the connection. Most of our regulars live right around the corner. We just try to stay open and keep the machines working.
