Stephen Controls

Stephen Controls is situated at 4376 in the MMDA area of Mathur Manali. It is a part of town that feels quite industrial and busy with trucks and heavy vehicles moving around. We have been operating out of this unit for a good length of time. The interior is practical, mostly filled with tools and control panels and bits of wiring that we use daily. It’s not a place where you’ll find plush carpets or fancy coffee machines. We mostly drink tea from the stall at the corner of the block. The MMDA layout can be a bit confusing for people who haven't visited before, so we tell them to look for the specific gate numbers. It gets quite warm in Mathur Manali during the summer months, so the shop floor can be a bit stuffy. We don’t mind it much because we are used to the routine. Most of our days are spent checking components and making sure everything is wired up right. It is a small crew here, and we all know our roles without needing to be told. We aren't into big marketing slogans or trying to sound more important than we are. We just provide a service in the local area and keep things moving. The floor is concrete and the shelves are metal, which suits the type of work we do every day. It's just a regular local workshop where the noise of the machinery is the constant soundtrack to our afternoons.
