L&T(Ecc)

You can find us up in Manali, on the road that leads to the Hadimba Temple. We are right near the Circuit House, tucked away at Mr. Rohit Sharma’s place. It’s a beautiful spot, though the winters get pretty tough when the snow starts piling up. We are part of the L&T(Ecc) group. Working in the mountains is a whole different ball game compared to the plains. Everything takes a bit longer because of the terrain. Our office is small and we keep a heater running most of the time to stay warm. We handle local engineering and construction coordination for the projects around here. Often, we are out visiting sites on the winding roads, so the office might be empty for a few hours. When we are in, it’s usually to catch up on the logs or talk to the contractors. The tourists are always walking by on their way to the temple, which makes for some good people-watching during breaks. We don’t have any big signs or flashy lights. Just a simple place where we manage the work. It’s a bit of a trek for some people to get up here, but the air is fresh. We just do our part to keep the projects moving along despite the weather and the hills. It’s steady work and we like being here in Himachal. Most of the locals know where we are if they need to drop off some papers.
