Hotel Ram Regency Honeymoon Inn

Setting up here on the Left Bank in Aleo was a big step for us. It’s a bit of a walk from the main center, but being near the water makes a difference. You can hear the river when the wind is blowing the right way. We named it the Honeymoon Inn because we get a lot of young couples who want to be away from the crowded markets. The building isn't huge, but it takes a lot of effort to keep it going, especially with the weather we get here. When it snows or rains hard, we have to stay on top of the leaks and make sure the rooms stay warm enough for everyone. We spend most of our mornings checking the kitchen supplies and making sure the hot water is running. It’s a lot of physical work, carrying bags up the stairs or changing out the heavy blankets. We aren't a big corporation, just a small crew of us who live and work here. We mostly keep to ourselves and let the guests enjoy the peace. Sometimes we talk to the people staying about where to find the best local tea or which path to take for a walk. It’s a simple operation really. We don't have any fancy robots or high-tech systems, just a paper ledger and a set of keys. It’s honest work and we try to do it right every day without making a big deal out of things.
