Sbc General Stores

Sbc General Stores is found at number 147 on Bangalore Road in Chintamani. This part of Chintamani is always moving, with cars and buses going up and down Bangalore Road all day long. Our shop is right on the edge of the pavement. Inside, it is a bit darker than outside, which is nice when the sun is beating down on the street. We keep a variety of goods at 147, mostly the everyday stuff like tea, sugar, and household cleaners. The shelves are tall and reach almost to the ceiling, so I have to use a little stool to get things down from the top. It is a one-room shop, nothing complicated about it. We have been on Bangalore Road for a good while, and we've seen shops around us come and go. Chintamani is a decent town to do business in. Most of our customers are regulars who live just a few streets away. They come in and tell us about their day while we bag up their items. We don't use any fancy bags or have a website. We just do things the old-fashioned way at Sbc General Stores. Sometimes the rain comes down hard and we have to move the bags away from the door quickly. It is just the usual daily grind, keeping the shop open and the shelves full. That is how we spend our time at number 147.
