Saiharticulture Malur Karnataka

Saiharticulture is located at Srivenkateshwaranilaya, near the Kuppashatty Well in the Kolar District. Being out here in Malur means we have more space than the city folk, but it’s a lot more work too. The sun gets really hot in Kolar, and we spend most of our time outside tending to the plants. We don't have a fancy office; we usually just sit under the shade of the trees when we need a break. The well is a landmark for us, and it’s where we get most of our water. It’s a dusty place, and your clothes are never really clean by the end of the day. We don’t use big words or have a corporate strategy. We just look at the soil and the leaves and try to figure out what the plants need. Some seasons are harder than others, especially when the rain doesn't show up. We’ve lived in Karnataka all our lives, so we know how the weather goes. It’s a slow pace of life, but there’s always something to prune or water. People from the village stop by to chat sometimes. It’s more of a community feel than a business one. We keep our records in a simple notebook and hope for a good harvest. It’s honest work, even if it leaves you with a sore back and dirty fingernails by sunset.
