We have been operating out of unit 251 in the K.I.A.D.B Industrial Area Phase 3 for some time now. Kolar Dist is a bit of a trek from the main city, but we have gotten used to the commute every morning. The industrial estate is always humming with the sound of trucks and machinery from the neighboring plants. At ILLIG India Pvt.Ltd., our daily routine is pretty standard. We spend most of our hours in a functional workspace that focuses more on getting things out the door than on looking fancy. There are about a dozen of us handling the different parts of the operation, from the technical side to the basic administrative tasks that keep things moving. The office is a bit crowded with filing cabinets and stacks of papers that we really should organize better one of these days. We usually grab tea from the small stall just outside the gate during our afternoon break. It is a good chance to stretch our legs and get away from the computer screens for a bit. The weather out here gets quite hot in the summer months, so the air conditioning is always working overtime. We do not have any big corporate events or anything like that. It is just a group of people working hard and trying to keep everything on schedule. Most of us live in the nearby towns, so there is a nice local feel to the place. That is basically us.
