Jain Rice Mills

Located on Budhlada Road, our mill is a place where we put in long hours every single day. It isn't a modern glass building or anything like that. It’s a practical space filled with heavy machinery and stacks of gunny bags reaching up toward the ceiling. We mostly focus on the rice, watching it go through the different stages of cleaning and sorting. It's dusty work, and by the end of the shift, we’re usually covered in a fine layer of it from head to toe. The traffic on Budhlada Road is always moving, but inside the mill, we have our own schedule to follow. We start early, often before the sun is fully up, to beat the midday heat. There is always something to do, whether it’s maintaining the equipment or organizing the warehouse space. We don’t spend much time on fancy talk or looking professional. We just wear our work clothes and get to it. Sometimes the power goes out, and we have to wait around, talking and drinking tea until things start up again. It’s those quiet moments that make the busy ones bearable. We’ve been at this location for quite a while now. People know us by the sound of our engines. We don't need big signs to tell folks what we do; the work speaks for itself when the trucks leave loaded up with the day's processing. It’s just how we live and earn our keep here.
