Balwinder Leather Company

Our company is located in Guru Ravi Dass Nagar, specifically at House No. 310 in Ward No. 16. This is a place where leather is everything. If you walk down our street, you can tell exactly what we do. We’ve been working with leather for years, and it’s a trade that has been in the family for a long time. The workshop is behind the main house. It’s a bit of a rugged space with stone floors and heavy wooden tables. We spend the day soaking, scraping, and prepping the leather skins. It’s physical work and it can be quite exhausting when the sun is out and the humidity is high. We don’t have a website or anything like that; we just do our work and sell to the people who know us. There’s always a layer of dust over everything, and the tools we use are old but they are still sharp and reliable. We don’t have a mission statement or a fancy philosophy. We just want to make sure the leather we produce is handled the right way. Sometimes we have a few neighbors over for a chat while we finish up the last batch of the day. It’s a simple, local way of doing things. We don’t need much else besides a good supply of skins and enough light to see what we are doing.
