You can find us on Kamal Cinema Road, not too far from the Sagar Resort. This business has been in the family for a long time, starting with Mehar Mohammad and now the sons are involved in keeping things going. The building is older and has that settled feel to it, with walls that have seen many years of work. We handle a variety of items depending on what the season brings, mostly focusing on things people in this part of town need every day. The road outside can get quite busy when there is a show at the cinema, but otherwise, it is a steady pace of people walking by. We have a lot of old wooden cupboards inside where we store our stock. It is not the most modern shop you will ever see, but we know where everything is. There is usually someone sitting out front on a stool, keeping an eye on the street and greeting people as they pass. We like to take our time with customers, especially the ones who have been coming to us for decades. It is more about the relationship than just a quick sale for us. The shop stays open late most evenings because that is when the area really wakes up. We just keep doing things the way they have always been done, focusing on the work and our neighbors.
