Golden Iron & Cement Store

You can find Golden Iron & Cement Store over on Nabha Road in Bir Ahmedabad. We are situated right near the Sohrab Public School. It's a busy area during school hours, but otherwise, it's a good spot for us. We mostly deal with the heavy stuff—iron rods, bags of cement, things like that. The store is basically a big warehouse where we stack everything high. It smells like wet stone and metal in here, which I’ve grown to like over the years. We started this store because there was a lot of building going on around Bir Ahmedabad and people needed a reliable place for supplies. We don't do much in the way of sales pitches. People come in, tell us what they're building, and we load it up for them. Sometimes we deliver if the order is big enough and our old truck is running okay. My brother handles the loading and I stay with the books. We don't have a corporate office or anything. It's just a local shop serving the local people. If you're coming down Nabha Road, look for the school and you'll see us just a little further down. We keep simple hours and try to be helpful whenever we can. There is no magic to it, just keeping the inventory ready for the next builder who walks in.
