Out on Raikot Road in Malerkotla, you'll find Dasmesh Mechanical Works. We’ve been operating from this location for quite some time. It’s a straightforward mechanical shop where we deal with a lot of different types of machinery. Most of our days are spent under the hood of something or fixing parts that have worn out. The air usually smells like diesel and grease, but we like it that way. Malerkotla is a place where people know each other, so we see a lot of the same faces coming by. We don't have a glossy brochure or a big website. Most people just know our name from being around the area. We work with our hands and use tools that have been with us for years. The shop can get a bit cluttered when we have several projects going at once, but we know where everything is. It’s just how a real mechanical workshop looks. We focus on getting the machines back in working order so people can get back to their own jobs. Whether it's a small repair or something that takes a bit more effort, we just handle it. It's honest work and it keeps us busy from morning until evening. We aren't trying to impress anyone with a big setup, just trying to provide what's needed for the local folks on Raikot Road. We’ve been doing this for years and we plan to keep at it for many more. It's what we know how to do and what we do.
