Venkatesh Electronics

Living and working in Nivane Village is quiet most of the time. Our shop, Venkatesh Electronics, is tucked away in Kalwan Taluka, right near the Wani Samaj Mangal Karyalaya. If there is a wedding or a big event at the Karyalaya, things get a bit busier on this road. We have been here in Nashik District for a good while now. It is mostly me and a helper taking care of the work that comes in. People bring their old televisions, radios, and mixers that stopped working. Parts can be hard to get sometimes because we are a bit far from the main city, so we have to wait for the bus or a delivery to bring what we need. It's a simple setup with tools scattered on the workbench. The floor needs a sweep pretty often because of the dust from the road. We do not have any big signs or bright lights. Most folks just know us by word of mouth. Sometimes a farmer comes in with a device that got wet or dirty, and we see what we can do. It is honest work and it keeps us busy from morning until the sun goes down. We don't promise anything fancy, just that we will look at it and try to fix it. It feels good when an old machine starts humming again. That is just how we run things here in the village. It isn't much but it is ours.
